Gerald (Jerry) Jayne joined Apex Health Innovations in November 2014 to expand upon the organizational footprint by commercializing customized software products for distribution across the biopharmaceutical industry. Jerry has over 30 years of clinical and project management experience within the biopharma and healthcare industries. Prior to joining Apex Health Innovations, Jerry spent 15 years at Amgen Inc., working within Clinical Development, Medical Affairs as well as Global Value, Access & Policy. At Amgen, Jerry managed Global Development Product Teams, both in Clinical and Medical Affairs, which then transitioned into a role Global Market Access Project Management. While in Project Management, Jerry quickly learned the importance of finding solutions to end business user driven issues. Prior to Amgen, Jerry spent 10 years in Boston, Massachusetts performing clinical research at AutoImmune Inc. and Harvard Medical School. An Exercise Physiologist by degree, Jerry was a High School All-American Cross Country runner, the Founder of the Amgen Cycling Club and was the antagonist for Amgen’s title sponsorship of the Tour of California. While not meeting the day to day needs of staff and clients, Jerry enjoys being outdoors – camping, skiing, snowboarding, paddle boarding and golf. Jerry primarily lives for his wife and son, spending as much time together with them as possible.
